Hideg vizes gépi vagy kézi mosás ajánlott. Ne szárítsa szárító gépben, inkább fektetve vagy felakasztva. A zakón esetlegesen megjelenő gyűrődéseket a mosás, viselés vagy szállítás okozhatja. Ezeket a ráncokat eltávolíthatja egy ruhagőzölővel. Ha nincs gőzölője, akassza fel a kabátot a fürdőszobában, majd hagyja, hogy a zuhanygőz kisimítsa a ráncokat, vagy forró, nedves ruhával/szivaccsal törölje át a terméket. (A kabátot más módon is ápolhatja, ha beadja mosodába vagy tisztítóba.)
